Ideas:
-we can each talk about one of our lesson plans for what we just completed or is due soon, what is being discussed now and what will be coming up.
-we can also talk about other random things that could be going on in our classroom or something that the parents need to fill out and send it (like a permission slip).
Maybe for the permission form thing we could talk about a field trip we're taking to a local restaurant, and talk about what the students will experience there. We can also talk about how we're building up to our classroom restaurant night, and remind parents that it's coming up soon, and that they need to tell us how many people their bringing and stuff.
